Slice of a Star
I once saw the Sun through the Baltimore Observatory Telescope. It had a filter on it so you could look right at it and not go blind. I was always bored with the sun until I saw this with my own eyes. The color and texture and detail on the sun was breath taking. The whirling pools of Plasma which could probably fit a hundred earths inside of them were awe inspiring. This is a palette knife painting of just a slice of our star.
